Every year, former IC students go on to complete their education at top schools across the UK.
In recent years, our students have had offers from schools such as St Paul’s, Shrewsbury, Cardiff Sixth Form, Brighton College and, of course, The King’s School Canterbury. We support them in their applications by providing exam invigilation, where this is required by another school, by helping with travel arrangements and by providing references.
All students at the College are entitled to a 50% discount on registrations with The King’s School Canterbury and can conveniently sit entrance examinations in familiar surroundings. With the experience and qualifications they gain at the College, they are able to make a real success of the remainder of their schooling, in preparation for higher education in the future.
Students who have gained outstanding qualifications in Year 11 with us have gone on to the very best schools for Sixth Form studies. From there, they have been able to apply to excellent universities. Former students have recently moved on to undergraduate courses at some of the best universities in the UK, including Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, and St Andrews.
